This delightful little thing is a 1968 Honda Z50A.
50cc of knobby fun in a sparkly blue frame.
This bike had in fact been in the same family from the day it was born... which is why we take on jobs like this as it's always a labor of love with any old machine.
The bike had certainly seen better days, and was in dire need of new everything. We matched the blue of the new tank as close as possible when the frame was powder coated, and all in all, it turned out quite nicely.
There are a couple of 'before' pics to show what we had to work with. Oddly enough, this was the most fun restoration we had done in a while.
