This has to be our favorite CB build ever… it’s everything you could want from a street bike that also happens to be 50 years old. This puppy started out as a very sad looking 1974 CB750 that had been in the same family since it was new.
When the owner approached us to rebuild his dad’s bike into a shiny new cafe styled thing, we (when I say we… it was mostly the short British one) said “no”. Cafe’s are uncomfortable, annoying and everyone and his cat does that… let’s build something more fun and unique. After all, who builds dirt track CB750’s?? No one… that’s who. Now we have and we love it!! It’s bonkers quick (mostly due to the oversized carbs, 836cc kit and close to 100 lbs weight loss). Honestly, if we could have kept this bike… we would have!
